Can BBA (Hons.) and BCA (Hons.) students transfer colleges, take a break of study, or remain absent for a long period under KTU regulations?

Yes. Inter-college transfer, break of study, and rules for long absence are all covered under the KTU 2024 regulations.

• Inter-College Transfer:
  Students can apply for a transfer to another KTU-affiliated college, usually after the 2nd semester, subject to seat availability and university approval.

• Break of Study:
  A student may apply for a break of study due to valid reasons such as medical issues, start-up ventures, or internships. The break must be approved by the Principal and the University before it begins.

• Uninformed Long Absence:
  If a student remains absent for a long period without informing the college, it will be treated as Uninformed Long Absence, and their registration may be cancelled by KTU.
