What is an APAAR ID (Academic Bank of Credits ID), and how can students create it?
The APAAR ID (Academic Bank of Credits ID) is a unique 12-digit identification number provided to every student in India under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
It is created through the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) system to digitally store and manage your academic credits earned from recognized institutions.

🪪 How to Create APAAR / ABC ID:
You can create your APAAR ID in three ways:

Through ABC Portal

Through DigiLocker
Steps (via DigiLocker):

Go to www.digilocker.gov.in

Sign in or create a DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar number.

Choose Education Category → ABC ID Creation.

Select your Institution (college/university).

Your ABC / APAAR ID will be generated and shown in your Issued Documents section.
Once created, you can use your APAAR ID to view your credit score and academic progress anytime.
